BOOK TRILOGY BY LOCAL AUTHOR ON DISPLAY IN VILLAGE LIBRARY

Three books by John Cowley, local science writer and author are on display in the Village Library at Lindsay Gardens, Energy and Everything, The Runaway Universe and Human Evolution - The Future.

Two new books are due for release in early January 2026, Photons - The Real Time Lords and Human Behaviour - The Clothes We Wear. Photons - The Real Time Lords expands on the theory of Cosmology developed in his first book Energy and Everything whilst the new book, Human Behaviour - The Clothes We Wear looks at the historical influence our clothes have on the way we behave and on the way we are expected to behave with some hilarious consequences and some serious ones as well.

Feedback from the readers of the first three books has been very positive and the global interest has been very promising. Apologies to those who have found it difficult to obtain copies from some outlets other than Austin Macauley.. This is a temporary problem which should rectify itself once these outlets order more stock, so encourage your friends to buy copies and put pressure on the outlets. The books are written with the minimum of jargon and draw from the author's life experiences as well as the latest developments in science and cosmology. The books may well consider some weighty issues but they are not long and reading them isn't onerous, in fact it could prove stimulating and spark a new interest in the world, the universe we all live in.
